So Mark Walter just bought two leagues like he was buying Netflix stock during an IPO frenzy? I’m not shocked — I’m just updating my Excel sheet. The Dodgers’ payroll could fund a small moon base. Meanwhile, the Lakers are now running on Crypto.com Arena… with better training tech than my coffee machine. Who pays for this? You do. And yes — if you believe sport should reflect grit over grants… then you’re already winning now. (P.S.: I’d rather own the team than my therapist.)
